gather information about a subject over which they have decision-making responsibility.

individuals through the appropriate aids and services. For additional information or to request this service,

Dear Neighbor:

As our communities continue to grow in the years ahead, the Village’s job is to protect and enhance the quality of life for

people who live here. To do that, we have to establish priorities and develop a plan that allows us to achieve our goals –

your goals – for future growth.

To make sure that our plans reflect what you want for your neighborhood, your family and all of Newburg, we are collecting

information about the attitudes of the people who live here about issues that affect them.

The enclosed questionnaire explores some of the issues related to growth in Newburg and asks you to share your views

on those issues. This information will be used as we set our goals and establish policies and regulation in the years ahead.

These questions will take about 15 minutes to complete, but they are an important investment in our future.

All of the information you provide will remain strictly confidential, but our ability to plan for the future depends on help

from people like you.

Won’t you please take a few minutes right now to complete this questionnaire and return it to us in the postage-paid

envelope provided by June ??, 2004?

Thank you in advance for your help. It will help us plan for a strong and healthy future in Newburg. We will publish the

results of this survey on the Village of Newburg web site, and will have copies of these results available at the

Village Hall during regular business hours after June ??, 2004.

Sincerely
