NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN NEWBURG, WI PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the governing body of Newburg, Wisconsin has declared its intention to exercise its police power in accordance with §66.0703, Stats., to levy special assessments upon property within the following described assessment district which is shown on the attached map for the benefits conferred upon the property by reason of the following public work and improvements: Install paved surface for the portion of the driveway (the "driveway approach"), concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter located within the Village of Newburg right-of-way ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS Salisbury and Congress Street Reconstruction Assessment Area Legal Descriptions and Map on file at Village Hall A report showing plans and specifications, cost of improvements and proposed assessments is on file at the municipal clerk’s office and may be inspected there during any business day between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. You are further notified that the governing body of Newburg, Wisconsin, will hear all interested persons, or their agents or attorneys, concerning matters contained in the preliminary resolution authorizing the assessments and in the above described report at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2011, at the Newburg Village Hall, 614 Main Street.
