The meeting of the Village of Newburg Smart Growth
Committee was called to order by Chairman Trustee Beitz.
Members Present: Trustee Beitz, Diane Miller, Dawn Woda,
Jeanne Harder and Tobin Johnson.
Unfinished Business
1. None.
New Business:
Discussion and possible recommendation on reporting public survey
results. It was recommended to report the public survey results in the
Bridges and share the information with the Planning Commission and the
Board. A motion was made by Diane Miller and seconded by Tobin Johnson
to place results into the Bridges and share with Planning Commission and
Village Board. Motion passed.
Miscellaneous Business
A motion was made by Dawn Woda and seconded by Diane
Miller to disband the Smart Growth Ad Hoc Committee. Motion passed.
Motion by Dawn Woda to adjourn, seconded by Tobin Johnson.

1. Discussion and possible recommendation to the Planning Commission on the Smart Growth Survey. Kevin from Washington County reviewed the survey and made suggestions for additional changes. The Smart Growth committee then reviewed these suggestions
and came up with a recommendation for a survey to be brought before the Planning Commission. Motion to send draft to Planning Commission was made by Dawn Woda and seconded by Tobin Johnson. Motion passed.
